Genuine - Transparency is at the very heart of this data revolution. We need to say what we mean, and mean what we say. We need to recognize that we don’t know everything and must not overpromise. We should embody humility and graciousness, and be ever-thankful to our community for their participation.
Deep Knowledge - We are an authority on what we do. Our knowledge of data and AI goes beyond the new and trendy- we have been in this business for a long time and our understanding goes very deep. Our insights are important to our community, and we formulate our content carefully so that it does not seem like advertising- our content actually brings value to people’s understanding of AI and data.
Concise - We choose our words carefully, and don’t attempt to be long-winded just for the sake of it. However, we also take care to always be aware of how we come off- we never risk being concise to the extent that we are curt or impolite. We use North American English (ie. color rather than colour, theorize rather than theorise). We focus on speaking in full sentences, with accurate spelling and punctuation.
Revolutionary - We are at the heart of a complete data, tech, and even business-culture revolution. We embrace flat hierarchies, blockchain decentralization, transparency, and an open-source culture. We are a key step towards building the future that we (and our community) want, so we shouldn’t be shy about being thought leaders, about challenging institutions, about inspiring change.
